It's the only bad thing about the product. It's not bluetooth. That information was not clear online.
I had to get used to the placement of the new keys, but your basic 10 key is all still the same. It has a (Tab) key, an "=" key, and both parenthesis keys. I do a lot of calculations in my spreadsheets, and this number pad handles it like a dream. I've been using a wired number pad for the last few years. This had everything I wanted in a keypad, and I am glad I purchased it. Right before the new audit season, I decided I wanted to find a wireless keypad that I could use. I always thought it was missing some key buttons, but I made do with what it had to offer. This number pad was perfect.
The product from Amazon thoughtfully came with 2 AAA batteries so I could get it working right away. to the team at Amazon. Ya gotta love it. A friend of mine was using the Logitech Number Pad with his notebook and I really wanted one. Not only did I get a great product at a cost savings, but I didn't even pay for shipping and I got it super-fast. I don't usually like to order things on-line or through catalogs, but in this case, I am really glad I did.I also have to send Cheers. Thanks so much Amazon.
It has the right features: seamless wireless connectivity, one button access to the web, microsoft excel and e-mail, and easy to use keys. To my extremely pleasant surprise, my number pad arrived the Next Day. Amazon said the shipping could take 5 to 9 business days (which is why I debated going this route). I could have gotten any of the number pads sold at brick & mortar retailers like Office Depot and Staples that don't work as well and cost more, but I decided to hold out for the Logitech and order on-line from Amazon. I put in my order on the morning of June 24 and selected the Super Saver option - which means I did not have to pay for ground shipping.
I especially like that no software installation is necessary for the pad to work with a notebook. This process worked flawlessly. area and can only be acquired on-line or by mail order). I think the number pad is great. (Amazingly enough, this product is not sold in stores in the Washington D.C.
Just wished it had the num lock. until I lost it only after 8 days.Cant really add much to all the other reviews, besides to confirm that this is the best 10-key I have ever used. Pros:- Key "tactile" feels great- Sleek design and feels good in the hand- full size keys- Pouch is great for protectionCons:- No Num Lock keyOverall, I really cant complain about this 10-key at all. I love it.
Turns out it doesn't - there's no Num Lock on it, it truly is a number-only pad.If entering numbers is what you're after, this looks like it would work super, otherwise you probably want to look elsewhere. This isn't really a knock against the product, but I'm hoping that writing this will prevent someone else from repeating my mistake.I don't actually use the numbers at all, but I use the navigation keys on a number pad quite a lot (arrow keys, home, end, page up/down). I figured they were pretty standard on number pads (my previous external one had them), so I didn't even think to look and make sure this one did.
